Global Commodity Manager

We are looking for a Global Commodity Manager with professional services/hardware experience ready to work on a hybrid model preferred in office 1-2x/week through remote is little flexible.

Must be conversant in SOW and managing prof services agreement.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Developing commodity strategies.
• Consulting with internal stakeholders for best and sustainable solutions.
• Leading terms and conditions and price negotiations.
• Corporate services sub-commodities include engineering, HR, marketing, treasury, legal, audit, travel, company car program.
• Managing global team meetings with users to assure service level.
• Driving user satisfaction and adoption.
• Developing commodity strategies and supplier portfolios.
• Ensuring appropriate supplier management.
• Achieving defined cost reduction targets.
• Good understanding of the relevant legal framework.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Managing internal client and supplier relationships.
• Monitoring and assessing supplier performance.
• Evaluating and responding to changes in global market developments.

Minimum qualifications include:

• At least 5 years experience in global purchasing activities for above commodities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Team player who thrives on a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Individual contributor role with demonstrated leadership within cross-functional team, decision making and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others preferred.
• Prior experience leading projects and project teams.
• Bachelor's degree.
• CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) is a preferred certification.
