Job Description

Position: Director, Corporate Communications

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated corporate communications strategies aligned with company priorities, pipeline milestones, and brand positioning.
  • Support corporate reputation initiatives and strategic messaging across internal and external audiences.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop presentations, talking points, speeches, and leadership communications.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across communication channels.
  • Own corporate LinkedIn strategy and day-to-day management (content calendar, company page presence, executive visibility support).
  • Own corporate website content strategy and ongoing updates, partnering with IT/design and outside vendors.
  • In partnership with Investor Relations, draft and manage press releases for clinical milestones, regulatory updates, partnerships, scientific data, and corporate announcements.
  • Support proactive media outreach and rapid response communications; monitor media coverage and industry trends.
  • Translate complex scientific/clinical information into clear, engaging materials.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Investor Relations, and Commercial to ensure compliant messaging; assist with stakeholder messaging for investors, healthcare professionals, and advocacy groups.
  • Develop employee communications to support culture, alignment, and business transformation; lead internal announcements, leadership messaging, town halls, intranet updates, and engagement communications.
  • Support crisis communications planning and issues management; identify reputational risks and counsel leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field (required).
  • Master’s degree in related discipline (preferred).
  • 5-8+ years in corporate communications/public relations/healthcare communications, including experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences company (required).
  • Proven experience in corporate reputation, executive communications, media relations, and internal communications.
  • Experience translating scientific/clinical information for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company (required), including familiarity with public-company disclosure/review standards.
  • Strong written/verbal/presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience (Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, HR, Commercial, Executive Leadership).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; proficiency with Microsoft Office, collaboration platforms, media monitoring tools, and digital channels.
  • Ability to develop polished PowerPoint presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and healthcare communications standards.
  • Experience with clinical milestone, regulatory, and investor communications.
  • Knowledge of scientific communications and healthcare media best practices.
Work/Travel
  • Parsippany, NJ; regular onsite presence at headquarters on designated in-office days.
  • Domestic travel up to 10% as needed.

  • Director, Strategic Operations.
