Dental Insurance Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Coordinator who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients maximize their dental benefits while ensuring the financial success of our practice.

The ideal candidate has prior dental insurance experience and understands the importance of accurate insurance processing, outstanding customer service, and strong communication with both patients and insurance carriers.

Schedule

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Occasional Fridays: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Verify patients' dental insurance benefits and eligibility
• Submit insurance claims accurately and promptly
• Follow up on outstanding claims and appeals
• Post insurance payments and reconcile accounts
• Review treatment plans and provide patients with insurance estimates
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status, benefits, and pre-authorizations
• Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities
• Maintain accurate patient insurance information in the practice management software
• Collaborate with the front office and clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Help maintain an efficient daily schedule and support administrative operations

What We're Looking For

• Required: Previous dental insurance coordination experience
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, claim processing, and benefit verification
• Experience with PPO insurance plans and insurance aging reports
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
• Experience with dental practice management software is preferred
