Technical Delivery ManagerThe TDM is a technical delivery/project manager that is responsible for coordinating all Technology requirements and deliverables within the project/program and may do this for several projects at once. TDMs work closely with the business team to understand their requirements, seeking additional detail or clarification as needed, and ensuring the technology teams review and understand the requirement and timeline expectations. The TDM then coordinates the activities of the various technical teams such as Architecture, Infrastructure, Development, Testing and Deployment, Release Management, and Production Support to ensure successful design and delivery of the technical aspects of the project.Typical TDM activities:Report Technical Status updates on progress, issues, and risks, providing mitigation plans as neededManage budget and forecast for Technology portion of projectLead integrated design discussions and ensure delivery of design and other technical documentsTrack progress of environment and development deliverables to ensure timely entry into integrated testingCoordinate performance, SIT, UAT testing and defect resolutionCoordinate project handover to Production Support including knowledge transfer sessionsDevelop and oversee completion and implementation of technology deliverables, activities, and plansCoordinating with the DBA, Systems Administrator, and other Support groupsWork with Infrastructure leads to ensure engineering/hardware requirements are fulfilledDesired Skills/Experience:Technical project management experienceApplication development or other technical experienceOutstanding communication skillsFinance/Tax experience a plusRelevant Years of Experience: 6+Total IT experience: 7+ years
